Verax AI is an Israeli company founded in 2023. Its Verax Protect product, launched in June 2025, sits between employees and the AI services they use.
It discovers AI tools, agents and MCP connections, links activity to individual user identities, and lets administrators set approved models, spending limits and the operations agents may perform.
Sensitive data can be redacted or blocked before it is sent to a third-party model, and the company says the product can run self-hosted inside a customer's own infrastructure.
It pitches the product to organizations with data protection obligations such as GDPR and HIPAA. Verax raised a $7.6 million seed round led by TQ Ventures in October 2024, when its focus was monitoring LLM products in production.
