Venice

Venice builds a privileged access management platform that removes standing privileges and grants just-in-time access for human, machine and AI agent identities across cloud, on-premises and SaaS.

Proof of life. Launched with $33M in total funding, including a $25M Series A led by IVP, February 2026

About Venice

Venice, formerly known as Valkyrie, sells privileged access management aimed at replacing legacy tools.

The platform discovers identities and entitlements across hybrid environments, lets users request access to cloud, on-premises and SaaS systems from one place, and applies policies that decide whether a request is approved automatically, sent for manual approval or blocked.

Access is granted only when needed and removed afterward, and the company says it needs no agents or proxies.

A runtime identity gateway checks each AI agent action against the agent's declared task, and an AI-assisted tool helps migrate from older PAM products. Named customers include Copart and Warner Music Group.

Venice launched in February 2026 with $33 million in total funding, including a $25 million Series A led by IVP.
