Teleport (the company formerly called Gravitational) issues short-lived certificates and session audit for engineers and machines hitting production. Open-source core, commercial control plane. Workload identity sits on SPIFFE.

In March 2026 it launched Beams, Firecracker VMs that give AI agents delegated identity and an audit trail instead of API keys in env vars. Customers include NASDAQ and Epic Games.
