Impart Security replaces legacy web application firewall rule sets with a programmable Layer 7 firewall that inspects live traffic inline, before requests reach the backend.
It enforces deterministic rules across web apps, APIs, bots, LLM endpoints, MCP servers and AI agents.
AI helps draft virtual patches and new rules, but engineers test and approve them, and the company says no AI sits in the live traffic path.
Impart says customers have cut thousands of legacy WAF rules down to a few dozen and patch CVEs in under an hour on average. Named customers include FanDuel, Fanatics, Chipotle and Compass.
