GitGuardian started as the GitHub Marketplace scanner everyone installs, then expanded into internal repos, Slack, Jira, honeytokens, and NHI governance. It classifies 550-plus secret types and tracks whether a leaked credential is still live. Snowflake, ING, and BASF are named customers. The Series C is explicitly for AI-agent credentials, not another SAST feature.
