AIUC, the Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company, is an assurance and insurance business rather than a security tool vendor.

It maintains AIUC-1, a SOC 2-style standard for the security, safety, and reliability of AI agents, audits companies against it, and links insurance coverage to the results.

Each audit tests an agent against roughly 5,000 attack and failure scenarios, such as jailbreaks, hallucinations, and data leaks, and is repeated quarterly. Certified or audited companies named in coverage include Cursor, ElevenLabs, Harvey, KPMG, and UiPath.

The new funding extends audits from agents to frontier models.
